MBA Clubs and Activities

Wharton MBAs are passionate about using their business skills to make a positive impact on society.

Now more than ever, responsibility for our planet and society is an important theme in business. Wharton houses many MBA clubs and activities that enable you to take a deeper look at social impact issues, and gain first-hand experience in the field.

Wharton supports students’ active involvement through the Wharton Graduate Association (WGA), which brings together Wharton and Penn faculty, students, and external organizations through clubs, conferences, and other activities.

Wharton Social Impact Club

The Social Impact Club at Wharton is a community of students and alumni who aim to build and support a strong community of socially conscious students; educate the broader Wharton community on social impact issues; and engage with the Wharton Social Impact Initiative to  provide meaningful and helpful events and social impact-related activities throughout the school year. At its student-led annual conference, students explore how to use their business expertise and functional skills to promote the common good, and engage with industry professionals in an open and constructive dialogue to broaden the community’s vision for social impact. Connect with the Social Impact Club on their Facebook page.
