For the eighth time in five years, the Lauren and Bobby Turner Social Impact Executive Speaker Series will light up the stage and inspire the Penn community with high profile leaders who are “doing well, and doing good.”
On Monday, November 16, more than 800 Penn students, faculty, and staff will enjoy a dialogue with William Ackman, Founder & CEO, Pershing Square Capital Management, hosted and moderated by Wharton alumnus K. Robert “Bobby” Turner, W’84.
Endowed by Turner (W’84) and his wife Lauren Golub Turner (W’85), this annual speaker series brings high-profile guests and celebrities to campus to discuss philanthropy, advocacy, education, and other efforts to create positive change in the world. Through candid interviews, audiences get an inside look at leaders who are using their influence and notoriety, as well as their creativity and passion, to make an impact on important social issues.
Previously, host Turner has shared the stage with other luminaries such as Eva Longoria, Andre Agassi, Ashton Kutcher, and KIPP’s Michael Feinberg. Read more about the series.
