We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Turner Social Impact Society, a new opportunity for undergraduate students.
The Turner Social Impact Society (TSIS) is a community of students united by their shared passion for making a difference, and their commitment to gaining the skills and knowledge to do so. The society is open to a small group of dedicated, talented, and carefully selected undergraduate students from across Penn.
TSIS is comprised of two groups: Members, who are newly exploring social impact and eager to more deeply engage, and Fellows, a “committed core” who have already shown their dedication to social impact and wish to deepen their expertise.
Through TSIS, the Wharton Social Impact Initiative will offer workshops, internships, fellowships, and mentoring to support and develop selected students’ social impact interests and goals. With this latest offering, we’re continuing to support and develop students’ lifelong commitment to social impact.
The deadline to apply is November 6, 2014.
For more information about the society, and how to apply, visit the TSIS page under the Projects & Collaborations section. Contact Sandi Maro Hunt for more information at sandhunt@wharton.upenn.edu.
