The summer internship is a crucial part of the business school experience. Spring break may be in the recent past, but have you secured your summer plans yet? Here’s how to apply for funding or an internship position.
For undergraduate, graduate and MBA students interested in social impact, there are three ways to explore summer internships through Wharton Social Impact Initiative. Apply soon, as these opportunities are competitive and funding is limited!
Work directly with us.
See our job board for exciting opportunities to work as a Wharton Social Impact Summer Fellow this summer, based here in Philadelphia. Fellows will be paid, and positions are full time from late May through August.
Work with an organization we love.
Browse and apply for external internship postings on our job board. In these positions – all of which have been vetted and funded by WSII – you’ll be placed with mission-driven organizations that we’re proud to collaborate with, locally and internationally.
Find your own internship and apply for funding.
We also have limited summer funding available for individuals who secure their own unpaid social impact internships with nonprofit or for-profit mission-driven organizations. Students focused on impact investing/gender lens investing, women’s empowerment, social impact in Africa, or international development are especially encouraged to apply.
Apply for funding here as an MBA, or here as an undergraduate.
