On “Dollars and Change”: Shannon Schuyler of The PWC Charitable Foundation

How can companies support working parents? And what does a Chief Purpose Officer do? In this episode of “Dollars and Change,” hosts Sandi Hunt and Nick Ashburn talk with Shannon Schuyler, Principal, Chief Purpose Officer and Corporate Responsibility Leader at PwC and President of PwC Charitable Foundation, about designing a family-friendly work culture.

In this segment, the corporate responsibility advocate talks about bringing a sense of purpose into the work environment, as well as designing company policies that suit today’s changing family and social dynamics.

“Those plans that were in place for so long now need to change,” said Schuyler, encouraging corporations to think progressively while acknowledging that “family structures are different” now.
