How have measurements of gender equality evolved over time? In this episode of “Dollars and Change,” hosts Nick Ashburn and Sandi Hunt talk with Matt Patsky, CEO of Trillium Asset Management, about the the change of discussion around gender equality.
Patsky talks about being part of an active effort to improve company diversity through investment, and the evolution of measuring gender equality in companies over the years.
“Look at the history of the asset manager you’re engaging in, and how deep [the efforts are]” said Patsky on how to find and invest in efforts which are mindful of gender equality, “[simply counting the number of women board members] is unacceptable. That is not gender lens investing.”
